With the bikes packed, out Road Captain Bill and Sgt of Arms Rod, Paul, Lyn, Debbie, Tom, Doc and Rose left for out weekend adventures. We hopped on the turnpike (Sunpass is a great thing) met up with some other member at one of the rest area's. Steve and ??? left us to blaze a trail to Leesburg.
We Called Opie when we go there to see where we could met up with them. They were just starting a poker run (100 miles), after catching up we rode the rest of the run with our brothers. So many beautiful and winding roads. We were approached several times by people wanting to know about the Band of Brothers, Doc was more than happy to enlighten them. After a long day of riding and enjoying a few drinks, it was time to make a quick stop at the Inn for those of us who hadn't checked in yet, a time to splash some water on your face, change and back to the bikes. Everyone was called and asked to meet at the Outback for dinner. 28 members come out, food was good, stories of the day's adventures were told .
Down town was the next stop, lots of shopping, looking, plenty of good music. Some didn't make it to bed till 3am, naming no names. Debbie and Opie!! All members of the Band of Brothers were asked to meet at 10am in the parking lot, some left early, the rest of us waited for the group to get together. Then 12 members took off for a ride over to Citrus County (Rose's home). Mike's Pub had lunch ready for us. P.I. welcomed us with open arms. She made out visit fun. We had a contest to see who could stick a dollar bill to the ceiling with one short. (prize was a free beer) Opie, Tommy, Big Tom met the challenge!! From here off to the river stopped at the Shed, they had a blues band, lots of bikes, friendly people. A few hours later we were off to Softtails, a late lunch waiting food was very good, they had a rocknroll band. We decided it was time to head back to the Inn. Met up with Dino and Rod, Debbie and Opie opened their room for all of us to hang out in, talk about the weekend's adventures. Food was ordered and we stayed into the wee hours. Monday we all packed up our bikes, went to breakfast at I-Hop, Rose left for work, the remainder of the Band of Brothers headed home.
